The pho bo sot vang is my new favorite dish in the city, with everything there is to love about a typical pho with the most tender and excellently prepared beef and an incredible depth of flavor. This is my new favorite restaurant in town. The drinks are also tasty and reasonably priced.

Loved the place! It was busy on a weekday night but we got seats. Service was fast and efficient as well. The food was hot and tasty. We had Tofu Pho, Duck Pho and the Spinach Tofu rolls. No complaints. Great ambience. Crowd was lively but we could still talk comfortably. There’s also plenty of street parking a block away to the west.

Very tasty food at decent price! The atmosphere and vibes are amazing! I ordered the vegetarian tofu with a bunch of modifications which they accommodated with a smile! Very happy with this place, came here on dec 31 around 11pm and both hosts were very warm and welcoming as well!

Were greeted and seated immediately. Fast friendly service, excellent food. Had the wings and crispy imperial rolls and both were excellent and the sauces were amazing! Definitely have to try it. The only thing I gave 1 less star to is it is more of a bar setting. Kind of noisy and the music is a little loud for my liking but the music was good and perky.

Wonderful evening with a fantastic selection for vegetarians. The Kale in the food adds a bit of bitterness. However, overall the experience was fantastic

Excellent pho with variety of meat that you don’t find in other restaurants. I enjoyed the duck pho - the duck meat was tender and flavorful, the meatball is bouncy and tasty. My friend enjoyed the steak pho as well - she finished it in one go! The portion is also quite large.

This was a great recommendation by a local! Their take on Vietnamese is fabulous. Love that they have banh cuon on the weekends and have three versions: Hanoi, Saigon and Shrimp. We had all three and they were all great! We also had the wings, but the winner was the banh cuon hands down. The Old Phoshian spin on an Old Fashion had the nice addition of anise but otherwise no hint of pho broth. Good, if slightly misleading. It's popular with the neighborhood locals and Seattle University students, so recommend getting there a little on the early side for dinner since there were several large parties waiting to get in when we left.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of our favorite local spots. The food is amazing, good service and fun atmosphere with a slappin’ vibe. The crispy imperial rolls were generously stuffed, the beef/lamb rolls were perfectly seasoned, the combo platter was huge and delicious, and the braised beef soup special was a delicious and delightful way to stay warm on a cold, rainy Friday night. We love BaBar for the best Vietnamese food in the city. Also, when you compare prices to other Cap Hill restaurants, their prices are much better for the food and service you get. Also their playlist is fantastic! A good mixture of pop music classics and current Vietnamese pop!

We are at the tail end of our trip to Seattle and we’re SO happy we decided to stop by Ba Bar before we left to return back to Hawaii. A friend recommended Ba Bar to us and my family and I were craving Vietnamese food, so we decided to give it a try. We stopped in for lunch and had the best dining experience we’ve ever experienced in Seattle. The food was seriously top-notch; my family and I devoured our entire 3 course meal. There wasn’t a drop left of our pho bowls, we ended up ordering another serving of the Saigon wings (MUST TRY!) and I even bought a bag full of their macarons to bring home to the island as gifts. Our food was delicious, but the incredible service we received from Michelle is what made it all the more special. Michelle was so attentive, she gave us great recommendations, and she was super sweet. I don’t remember the last time my dad was so impressed with customer service, but he said that it felt like we were at a fancy steakhouse with the 5 star treatment we received from Michelle. My family left feeling happily full, our cravings satisfied, but also a little sad that we don’t have more time to pay Ba Bar another visit before we leave (although, I’m trying to convince my dad we need to stop there before the airport for one more round of the Pandan Vietnamese coffee lattes, which were ridiculously bomb) We honestly can’t wait to come back! Thank you Michelle and Ba Bar for the hospitality and treating us like ohana. Aloha until next time!
